Regular Family Support Gatherings

(3.5 hours gathering on Saturday)

FCSN's mission is to help children and adults with special needs and their families to find love, hope, and respect through integrated community involvement. Our program is unique for its emphasis on family involvement and integration of special-need children and adults with their regular peers. We train our youth volunteers to understand people with disabilities and develop their leadership skills.

Our family support gatherings are designed for the whole family. Special-needs children, their families, volunteers, and friends are gathered together for fun activities. Family Support Gatherings are held every Saturday alternately in Fremont and in Saratoga.

In the first 2 hours, while parents attend seminars, children will be divided by age groups to participate in three 40-minute classes.  These classes are dancercise, arts & crafts, and games. After the Seminar/Children classes, a sumptuous homemade dinner is prepared for the whole family.  Last, parents join support groups while children join singing and dancing activities.

Member Cost: $100 per family + $10 material fee/ per student

Non-member Cost: $125 per family + $10 material fee/ per student
